Free temporary file sharing.
Files pass through, they don't stay.
Drop a file, get a self-destructing share link, and send it on. TempCDN is an anonymous file upload service — no account, no sign-up — that deletes every upload automatically once its expiry timer runs out. Works fine from a browser tab, and just as well from a curl command in a CI job.
# any node in the pool works — requests round-robin automatically
curl -F file=@release.tar.gz https://srv1.tempcdn.eu.cc/api/v1/uploadWhy use TempCDN for temporary file sharing
Nothing fancy — just the parts that matter when you need to hand a file off and move on.
Actually free
There's no paid tier waiting behind a feature flag. Upload as much as you want, whenever you want.
Cleans up after itself
Set the expiry when you upload and forget about it — the file is gone on its own once the timer's up.
Skip the sign-up
You don't need an account to use this. Open the page, drop a file, get a link back.
Scriptable from the start
curl -F file=@yourfile.zip and you're done. No API key to generate, no auth header to figure out.
Won't store duplicates
Files are hashed with SHA-256 on the way in, so uploading the same thing twice doesn't cost extra storage.
More than one server
Traffic spreads across a small pool of nodes, so a single server having a rough day doesn't take the whole thing down.
Link's ready right away
As soon as the upload finishes you get a URL back — drop it in Slack, a ticket, wherever it needs to go.
No link settings to fuss with
There's no visibility toggle or access list — if someone has the link, it works, until it expires.

How TempCDN's free file upload service works
TempCDN is a free, anonymous file upload and temporary file sharing tool built for people who need to hand off a file without the overhead of an account. Drag a file onto the upload page, or send it straight from the command line with a single curl request — either way, the response comes back with a direct download link you can paste into a chat, a ticket, or a script.
Every file you upload gets a self-destructing link: once its expiry timer runs out, both the file and its metadata are permanently deleted from storage. There's no dashboard to remember to clean up, no manual delete step required, and nothing left behind once the countdown hits zero.
Because it's built around a plain REST API rather than a proprietary SDK, TempCDN works equally well as a one-off file hosting link for a friend or as an automated upload target inside a CI/CD pipeline, backup script, or internal tool. There's no API key to provision and no rate-limited free tier waiting to interrupt a build — the API upload endpoint is documented in full on the API docs page.
Uploads are also deduplicated by SHA-256 checksum, so re-uploading the same file doesn't use extra storage, and traffic is spread across multiple nodes so a single server having a rough day doesn't take the whole service down. It's a small tool, kept intentionally simple, and free for as long as it exists.

Frequently asked questions
The short answers. The full detail lives in the API docs.
- Do I need an account to upload a file?
- No. There's no sign-up, login, or API key. Open the upload page or send a curl request, and you'll get a share link back immediately.
- How long do uploaded files stay available?
- Every file is stored with a fixed expiry (TTL) set at the server level. Once the timer runs out, the file and its link stop working automatically — nothing to clean up manually.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Yes, the server enforces a maximum upload size and a list of allowed file types. The current limits are always available from the /api/v1/config endpoint, and the upload page checks against them before you upload.
- Can I delete a file before it expires?
- Yes. Every upload returns a one-time delete_token. Keep it, and you can delete the file early with a single DELETE request — no token, no early deletion.
- Is TempCDN really free?
- Yes. There's no paid tier, usage cap, or credit card requirement. It's a small tool that stays free by staying simple.
- Can I use TempCDN from a script or CI pipeline?
- Yes. The upload API accepts a plain multipart/form-data POST request, so a single curl -F file=@yourfile is enough — no auth headers or SDK required.
